Since Mom got her own computer, she has found great Vacation Rental Deals online so we don’t have to worry so much about the cost of our accommodations like we used to.   The trip can be rather costly if you don’t shop around and my mother is the best at finding deals for us.  I guess that’s part of why we are so careful with our money too.  I feel like a little girl looking forward to Christmas or her birthday because I’m looking so forward to this trip.  It’s our time with our mother and time is so very precious.  ‘Enjoy it while you still can’ is my mothers motto.  Mine too pretty much!!!

Yeah I know that a lot of people have a strange notion that New Jersey is somewhere you wouldn’t want to go but I have no idea how that came about.  Like I said, I thought it was one of the best places we vacationed. One thing I really love is vacationing in Florida.  When I was little we went to Disney World and I remember how much fun it was as a child but I’m not a child anymore so it’s time for a grown up adventure, you know what I’m saying?  I think it would be an absolute blast to check out Universal Studios.  There are a lot of Discount Universal Tickets available right now so now is the time to get your tickets. Not to mention, it’s Mardi Gras at Universal Studios.  That would be like getting two adventures in one.  I have always wanted to go to Mardi Gras and this is the best way to experience it without going to New Orleans.

I can’t wait to try all of the food, ride all of the rides and see all of the wonderful costumes that I bet they’ll have too.  I love the masks they always wear for Mardi Gras.  In fact, I really hope to be able to find some of the ones that have the feathers all over them.  I have the perfect spot on my bedroom wall to hang one.

BUTTE, Mont. – The single-engine turboprop airplane that crashed just short of Butte airport jerked to the left before nose-diving into a cemetery, killing all 14 people aboard, a witness said Monday. Kenny Gulick, 14, told CBS’ “The Early Show” on Monday that he thought he was watching a stunt plane because the pilot was making so many turns. “He jerked the plane to the left too quickly and lost control of it, but that’s just my guess,” said Gulick. “And all of a sudden it went into a nosedive. I noticed the pilot trying to pull up but he was extremely low to the ground and he didn’t pull up in time.”

Snow was falling gently Monday as investigators gathered before dawn at the scene of the crash in Holy Cross Cemetery, 500 feet short of Bert Mooney Airport. Seven investigators wearing National Transportation Safety Board jackets were walking around the area, pausing in places, in the 28-degree weather. The death toll was confirmed by Karen Byrd, a Federal Aviation Administration operations officer in Renton, Wash. Earlier, the count had been put as high as 17.

The plane, a Pilatus PC-12, was believed to be taking its occupants on a ski trip to Montana. “We think that it was probably a ski trip for the kids,” Fergus said. The Pilatus PC-12’s capacity is 12 adults. It was not known whether the extra people aboard was a factor in the crash, since seven of the victims were children.

Just taking a cruise to the Grand Cayman Islands would be wonderful but the tours and excursions make it the best cruise there is if you ask me.  When I was a kid, I wanted to become a marine biologist because of my love of Dolphins but once we grow up, somehow our dreams as a kid seem to fade unfortunately.  This would be living my dream up close and personal.  Who knows, I could go back to school and pursue my original dream still.

My best friends daughter has dreamed of swimming with dolphins her whole life and she’s 13 now.  I wish I had the money for all three of us to take this cruise just so she could fulfill her dream.  I just might have to start saving so maybe we could do that next year.

Just like the picture says, it makes you wonder just how cold it was there and how long it had to stay that cold to completely freeze Niagara Falls.  I’m sure glad it doesn’t get that cold now.  Here are some more picture of the falls.  You can even see the people walking up to the frozen falls.

Well now it seems that we have competition from Russian brides looking for not only American husbands but also Australian, Canadian and men from the United Kingdom. I know that they have not had the luxury of living in our country and with that in mind, would love to find a husband from one of those countries.  Sure there are some beautiful women in Russia.  There are some here too but Michael Noer needs to do another study on why women seek careers more than husbands, don’t you think.

I’m sure Russian women would make wonderful wives to any man and be glad to stay at home and raise a family.  What most men don’t seem to understand is that a lot of American women would love to do that too.

So for vacation this year, Panama City, Florida sounds wonderful.  I love it there.  I’m going ahead and checking into condo rental panama city beach so that I can find the right place to rent.  I’m not one of those people that likes to stay in motels.  Some people do but it’s just not my thing.  I like renting a condo or villa.  If several people are going then I prefer a house but I think this year, just my best friend and I will find a nice condo and have a couple of weeks to sit back and relax.

Any time any of my family is looking for vacation rentals, we always check the same web site because we always find great deals on great places to rent from condos, to villas, to houses.  We have even found houses that would sleep up to 12 people.  When I used to go on vacation with my parents, we went all sorts of places and it didn’t matter where we were headed, we found what we needed through this site.  You should check it out if you’re planning a vacation too.
