Nothing beats a great watch

That’s what my Daddy always says. He won’t own a watch unless it’s one of the Citizen watches. They last forever it seems because I know that Daddy has had one of his Citizen watches for as long as I can remember. He has one for everyday and then one for business. Of course Mom has a couple of them too. In fact, the first watch they got me was a Citizens watch.
I didn’t know that Citizens watch company had been around for as long as it has. They started in 1924. They came up with the name of Citizens Watch so it could be “Close to the hearts of people everywhere.” Pretty nice way to look at a watch, don’t you think? Since the company was established, it has become a globally recognized brand. Not too bad, huh?
They have made several ‘worlds firsts’ in watches too. Did you know they made the first professional dive watch with an electronic depth sensor and also the worlds slimmest LCD watch. Oh they also made the first voice recognition watch. Now they have come out with the worlds first Eco-friendly watch. It doesn’t use a battery, it’s fueled by light. Oh and Daddy, if you read this, I would love to have an Eco-Drive Bangle watch for Valentines day. I bet any of you reading this could find the perfect Valentines gift on their site too.
