Heck yeah I’m a huge Elvis Presley fan. In fact, I shed a tear yesterday for his birthday just thinking what the world had lost when we lost Elvis. What a drop dead gorgeous man with a voice like no other. I have always said that he could sing about a buzzard on a shit wagon and make it sound beautiful.
Well I was checking out some of the most popular news stories on msnbc online and came across a video interview of a woman who’s father taught Elvis to sing. His name was Roy Hamilton, a black man and if you listen to the way he sings, you can see the influence he had on Elvis. Amazing story. If you’re an Elvis fan like me, check it out.
