I love the sounds of HOME

I grew up in a big two story farm house Colonial home. There was the most beautiful grandfather clock in the entrance hall that I absolutely loved. I would sit by it for hours and play when I was little just so I could listen to it chime when the time came. It was the sound of HOME to me and still is to this day. The grandfather clock my parents had used to be my grandparents. It has been passed down to the first born for 3 generations now. Unfortunately, I’m not the first born so I won’t get it.
To me, nothing makes a home a home quite like grandfather clocks. Right now I don’t have room for anything but just a regular clock but one of these days, I’ll have the one I want that fits my style. My favorite are the Howard Miller grandfather clocks. They are absolutely beautiful. We do have a really nice mantel clock that I bought for the house and it’s mine when I leave, that’s for sure.
