Came home to a wonderful smell

I absolutely love this crock pot. I walked in the door this afternoon after work and the house smelled so good. I had put some chicken breast in the crock pot along with some onions, chicken broth and a few pieces of celery cut up. I already had some potatoes. carrots. peas. corn. and green beans to put into it when I got home.
Oh my goodness, did I have a wonderful soup in just about 45 after I got home. I even threw in some brown rice and then thickened the broth a little once everything was done. Talk about a great meal that will warm you from head to toe and stick to your ribs, this will. I love this crock pot. Now what to fix tomorrow. I’m going to put some of the soup in empty butter bowls so we can have some again for a quick meal.
