Veterans Day Holiday

I had to work today. I didn’t mind really, since it is a holiday I got paid holiday pay, which is double time. I usually volunteer to work every holiday because I really can use the money. I did watch the news when I got home and saw their coverage of Veterans Day activities. To be honest I was surprised that there seemed to be very little coverage of it! Just a short mention of where Bush, Cheney, and Obama went to observe the day. I wonder if it is my imagination, or if the holiday was rather low key this year.
