Fall planting

This past weekend I went to the local nursery and bought hundreds of tulip bulbs, and daffodil bulbs. I spent all day Sunday planting them around the yard. I bought the kind that will spread, and the ones that are not deer resistant (the tulips) I planted close to the house inside a fenced in area, hoping to keep the deer from eating them. I didn’t buy a lot of them because I’m not entirely convinced my “deer strategy” will be effective. But the bulbs were on sale and the photos of the flowers were so pretty I decided to try a few.
Don’t you just love playing in the garden? One of my favorite pasttimes!
