Uncertainity is the mood of the day

With the big bailout having been rejected by congress, and the economy in shambles, consumer confidence is at an all time low. I don’t know anyone who says that they are going to be buying any Christmas presents this year. People that I know that work in retail say that their stores are not going to be hiring any seasonal help for Christmas. People are afraid of being laid off. This is a very scary time. I will be very glad when the election is over and the country has a better idea of where we will be heading. The biggest thing people are afraid of is the great unknown.
