Olympics opening ceremony

I was reading on the Internet that China is now admitting that at least two parts of the Olympics opening ceremony were faked – the part where the little girl was singing a song, and part of the fireworks display.
Apparently part of the fireworks display was computer assisted imagery, which I actually think is pretty cool, so I don’t think that is a “big deal” but the part where the little girl was lip syncing really is a shame. I think that she either should have used her real voice, or the person whose voice was actually used should have been the one performing. I don’t care if the real singer was too old or too ugly, she should have received the glory and adoration and applause.
This kind of “faking it” really should not have happened.
